The world’s largest living thing is a gigantic parasitic honey mushroom occupying 965 hectares. The mushroom is believed to be 2,500 to 8,500 years old.

It’s found in the Blue Mountains in Oregon and most of it is underground in the form of a vast network of mycelia.
